Scope

To reduce computation cost and maintain accuracy of numerical solution, adaptive methods and acceleration techniques have become necessary when the structure of solution becomes complex and the traditional methods is unfavorable. With this regard and engineering demanding, different adaptive methods and acceleration techniques have been under rapid development in the past decade and especially in recent years. On the other hand, there are still many challenges and bottlenecks open for researches in this field. The mini-symposium aims to provide a forum for applied mathematicians and CFD experts worldwide to present new and emerging research developments and future directions in the field of adaptive methods and acceleration techniques, to exchange research results and ideas, and to promote international and local research cooperation and connections.
