Scope

Understanding and control of heat transport in nanostructures and functional materials are indispensible in many fields, ranging from the thermal management in electronic devices to the thermoelectric energy conversion. This mini-symposium will bring together researchers working on computational heat transport, and discuss the recent progress, challenges and opportunities in the field of heat transport in nanostructures and functional materials. The topics include but are not limited to theoretical modeling and simulation methods, thermal transport in nanotubes, nanowires, and two-dimensional materials, and the interfacial thermal transport.
